Chef Jason Yamaguchi

Chef Jason Yamaguchi is a Japanese American chef whose cuisine reflects a lifetime shaped by culture, travel, and mentorship. Born in Los Angeles and raised on the island of O‘ahu, Yamaguchi began his culinary journey working alongside his uncle, celebrated chef Roy Yamaguchi, at Roy’s restaurants throughout California. 

Over more than two decades on the U.S. mainland, he refined his craft while collaborating with renowned culinary leaders including Michelin-starred chef Michael Mina and Roy’s Restaurants chef Chris Garnier. His cooking blends Hawaiian roots, Japanese precision, and global influences.
