THE RIGHT WHEELCHAIR FOR FASTER RECOVERY
At High Hopes, our goal is to help you regain mobility and independence, and having the right wheelchair plays a
crucial role in that process. Proper posture is essential for recovery, making hard-back chairs the best option for
support, while poor posture can slow progress. Every wheelchair should be labeled with the students name to
prevent mix-ups and kept in safe working order. This includes functioning brakes, tires, and seat belts, which are
also required for transportation services. Overloading a wheelchair with items can create safety hazards, and while
manual chairs are preferred, electric chairs should be properly maintained and charged nightly. When a
wheelchair is no longer needed, consider donating it to High Hopes, as all donations are tax-deductible. Our
ultimate goal is to help you walk again, and having the right wheelchair can support a smoother
